Job Summary
River's Bend Retirement Community is a 40-bed skilled nursing center with a 36-bed assisted living community. River's Bend was recognized as a 2024 Best of Kentucky facility at the KAHCF/KCAL/KSLA Annual Meeting and Expo and is a 2024 recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living.
We are looking for full-time State Registered Nurse Aides (SRNA)/Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to work either day shift or night shift with rotating weekends. We offer flexible shifts, so you can work 4x10 or 3x12! Pay ranges from $15.50 to $19.50 with extra incentives for shift differential.
State Registered Nurse Aides/Certified Nursing Assistant Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with activities associated with daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, collecting specimens, applying dressings, walking and/or other exercise routines, and transferring individuals, alone or with assistance;
- Assure the physical comfort, mental well-being and treats every resident with respect and dignity;
- Prepare residents for meal and snacks and assist with the distribution of food trays;
- Feed residents based on need and disability using accepted standards of practice;
- Review resident's care assignments and provides nursing care as stated in the resident plan of care, under the direction of a licensed nurse.
State Registered Nurse Aides/Certified Nursing Assistant Qualifications and Skills:
- Must hold a valid Kentucky Nurse Aid Certificate.
- Must have a high school diploma.
- Preferred experience in long-term care, but new grads are welcome to apply! We will train you!

State Registered Nurse Aides/Certified Nursing Assistant Pay Rate:
- $15.50 - $19.50 per hour
