Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs the act of mechanically dealing a Poker game in a proficient manner, according to current company policies and procedures and applicable gaming regulations.
- Responsible for handling guest transactions and notifying Poker Room Supervisor of any irregularities while advising a Poker Room Supervisor,or Poker Room Shift Manager of any disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players/Poker Dealers.
- Manages gaming chips, collects rake and distributes winning pots according to approved ICS in an accurate manner.
- Supports and maintains the Rivers Casino -- Des Plaines guest service standards at all times while promoting outstanding guest relations and enforcing rules of the game.
- Performs other duties requested or assigned.
- Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of the Rivers Casino -- Des Plaines ICS.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
- Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, see, walk, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to identify colors.
- Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
