Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities related to surveillance, including gaming areas, cashier cages, count rooms, and other designated areas.
- Work proficiently in a discreet environment, overseeing activities through closed-circuit television.
- Foster a sense of inclusion within the surveillance department, making every team member feel valued.
- Uphold a culture of openness, fairness, honesty, and professionalism with all surveillance employees.
- Address employee performance issues, providing coaching, mentoring, and ongoing feedback.
- Clearly communicate and enforce company expectations, including codes of commitment, policies and procedures, as well as departmental goals and objectives.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations and ensure adherence to these guidelines.
- Perform any other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in surveillance preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills is essential.
- Comprehensive knowledge of slot machines and all casino-related departments, including credit, cage, count rooms, security, and other designated areas.
- Previous managerial/supervisory experience desired.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and guests in English.
- Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process.
- Availability to work flexible shifts and days, including holidays.
Certifications:
- Obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with the gaming license.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Ability to traverse the property to review and communicate with departments.
