Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in Same Day Surgery and Post Anesthesia Care Unit settings.
- Assess patients' physiological and psychological status before, during, and after surgery.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Minnesota license.
- Certified in AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Knowledge and experience in perioperative nursing preferred.
- Ability to interact positively and cooperatively with colleagues, patients, physicians, and other customers.
