Overview
The Admissions Counselor II is responsible for all activities and duties of an Admissions Coordinator I as well as those specified for the Admissions Counselor II position to include but not limited to the following: Customer Service, Admissions Support, Registrar Support, and advanced level support to include cross-trained for Bursar and/or Health Records functions. Strong skills in communication to include telephonic, written, and in-person are required. Experience with database entry and extraction and general office technology required. Previous experience in a higher education environment is preferred.
Due to the confidential nature of the role and access to student information employees in the Student Services department may not be concurrently enrolled as an RCHC student.

What You Will Do
- Provides Admissions support, such as processing admissions for students entering pre-nursing or pre-allied health and advising students which general education courses are required prior to application to a specific RCHC program.
- Provides Registrar support, such as registration and tracking of consortium general education courses, processing transcript requests, degree verify requests, course exemptions, as well as file creation and maintenance.
- Provides Advanced level support including: Cross-train for Bursar or Health Records functions as assigned, perform advanced SIS functions, back-up Registrar functions, and perform audits.
- Responds to inquiries to include vendor badging access, prospective students, campus tours, and open house assignments.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
- Associates Degree, Business, IT, or related field (Preferred)
- 3-4 years College Admissions, Administrative/Office Assistant experience (Required)
- Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (VACRAO or AACRAO) (Preferred)
