Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Activities Director located in Riverside, CA. The Activities Director will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising various recreational and therapeutic activities for residents. Daily tasks include coordinating events, managing the activities budget, and collaborating with staff and residents to create meaningful experiences that promote physical, mental, and social well-being. Additionally, the director will oversee the scheduling and ensure that all activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Recreation skills
- Experience in Therapeutic Recreation and Event Planning
- Proficiency in Budgeting and managing resources effectively
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy, Gerontology, or a related field is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
