What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Attorney position at RiverSpring Living?
The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Center for Elder Justice is the nation’s first elder abuse shelter. The Weinberg Center provides safe, short-term shelter for older adults who have experienced abuse in the community, providing a supportive space where older adults can seek justice, re-assert control, and develop the resilience they need to return to the community. This is a full-time position with the possibility for some remote work.
Responsibilities:
The Staff Attorney will also participate in meetings with partner organizations; coordinate and provide outreach and training to a variety of professional audiences; and assist in writing grant proposals and reporting on grant activities to current funders. Policy and legislative work and writing on elder justice issues are also part of the portfolio for the position.
Salary Range: $100K - $120K
