What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ambulatory Surgery /Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse position at Riverwood Healthcare Center?
About the Position:
Responsible for the pre-anesthesia and post-anesthesia nursing care of pediatric, adult and geriatric surgical patients. Delivery of limited intra-operative nursing care is also an expectation. OP/PACU RN's deliver care through the use of the nursing process in a manner that is cost-effective without compromising quality of care.
What we are looking for:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; currently licensed in the State of Minnesota; one year experience of critical care or PACU nursing preffered; applied science principal knowledge as related to hygienic, safety, blood-borne pathogen, body substance isolation, cleaning, and disinfection procedures.
- Good computer skills required.
- Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Minnesota; ACLS or ACLS eligible within three months of employment.
