Job Description:
As a Sales Person at RJ Powersports, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our range of powersports products and services. You will be responsible for creating lasting customer relationships, providing expert product knowledge, and contributing to the growth and success of our business. This role requires enthusiasm, a passion for powersports, and a dedication to exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Understand and identify customers' needs, providing product recommendations and solutions.
Establish rapport, answer questions, and provide guidance throughout the sales process.
Offer exceptional customer service to ensure a positive buying experience.
Product Knowledge :Stay up-to-date with the latest powersports products, features, and technologies.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of our product line and how they meet customer needs.
Convey product details, benefits, and specifications to potential buyers accurately.
Sales and Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Effectively demonstrate and promote the benefits of our products to close sales.
Utilize sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell complementary products and services.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Keep the showroom organized and visually appealing.
Customer Follow-Up: Establish post-sale follow-up procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Encourage customer feedback and reviews.
Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary paperwork, such as sales contracts and financing agreements.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.
Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Some college education is a plus).
- Proven experience in sales and customer service, particularly in the powersports industry, is highly desirable.
- Strong passion for powersports and a deep understanding of related products and equipment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with sales and inventory management software (e.g., POS systems).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to use a CRM (Customer relationship management system)
