RJE Telecom, LLC, a dynamic, cutting edge telecommunications engineering firm, is seeking an experienced MXU Coordinator for the Glen Bernie, MD area. The MXU Coordinator will provide administrative and field support for inside path placement projects and will need to be familiar with engineering concepts, such as fiber optic cable and structure.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Must be familiar with engineering concepts (e.g. fiber optic cable and structure).
  • Provide administrative and field support for inside path placement projects.
  • Complete all required forms and documents.
  • Knowledge of PC applications and the mechanized support systems.
  • All other duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Requires HS diploma or equivalent.
  • Understanding of outside plant facilities, ISP (inside path design) and fiber technologies.
  • Knowledge of PC software package tools, including word processing (i.e. Word, Excel).

REASONING ABILITY:
  • This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Requires the ability to distinguish between general audience information and confidential information and to maintain confidentiality.
