What are the responsibilities and job description for the Handyman position at RJR Maintenance Group Inc.?
We are looking for a reliable Handyman to undertake upkeep and repair tasks at the interior or exterior of company premises. We’ll rely on you to keep our facilities in perfect condition by doing various odd jobs.
Responsibilities
1. Clean facilities by sweeping, dusting etc.
2. Perform maintenance and light repairs.
3. Perform routine landscaping on the grounds
4. Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.)
5. Undertake light installation or carpentry such as installation
of ceiling grid or repairs of ceiling tiles.
6. Repair equipment or appliances.
7. Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
Requirements
1. Must be willing to travel site to site by public transit
2. Must be COVID19 vaccinated
3. Must be fluent in English
Skills
1. Proven experience as handyman
2. Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
3. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems
4. Good communication ability
5. Attention to detail
Payrate: $20-$25 per hour.
Actual work location will vary in the five boroughs with potential travel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
