Description
- Working in conjunction with AVP of Day Hab Services, Program Directors, and Day Hab teams to ensure that members are evaluated for levels of PT difficulty to meet the regulatory requirements of MassHealth.
- Identify member goals and carry out individual treatment plans that addresses specific functional needs, as needed.
- Collaborate with families, guardians, residential providers, and all other team members in the development of treatment programs for individuals, as needed.
- Work in conjunction with the Program Directors in regard to systems of records and reports to meet requirements of MassHealth. This includes meeting all timelines for member evaluations, assessments, and other paperwork required by MassHealth.
- Working in conjunction with the Program Directors to provide ongoing support and training to ensure staff are educated in member’s PT therapy goals and recommendations.
- Cooperate and interact with co-workers, program members, volunteers, and funders in a collaborative, courteous, empathic, and professional manner. Demonstrate willingness and ability to be part of the team effort.
- Attend all required meetings.
- Adhere to agency safety standards.
- Perform additional duties or substitute for others as required.
- Adhere to all RTR policies and procedures.
- Develop and provide all services in accordance with RTR’s philosophies including staff and Board beliefs.
Qualifications
- A physical therapist must be licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Allied Health Professions.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Successful completion of all state and agency mandated trainings.
- Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI), Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agencies.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be fluent in English and have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals under supervision, employees of the organization, families, and members of the community.
