Sous Chef - Scottsdale
Duties include, but are not limited to :
- Food Preparation : Responsibility for plating, cooking and the presentation of food using established recipes and guidelines.
- Inventory : Conducts weekly inventory and works with head chef in ordering
- System Management : Handles data entry and management systems including ordering, inventory, scheduling, and using computer systems to execute tasks and manage food and labor costs
- Team Performance : Assists with the hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, providing performance management and team member discipline
- Kitchen : Ensures proper maintenance, operations and usage of kitchen equipment. Maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, walk-in and freezer areas.
- Safety : Enforces health and safety standards
