About the role: Beverage Cart staff play an essential role, providing our members and their guests with memorable golf course experiences by engaging in a warm and friendly manner. As a member of the Food & Beverage staff, you will support and promote our RFC culture of mutual respect while performing assigned tasks consistent with Club standards.
Responsibilities:
- Stock and maintain beverage products on carts and three additional stations.
- Responsible for ensuring charges are properly entered and chit is closed out properly.
- Fill out requisitions and close all stations with manager sign off.
- Greet and recognize members by name.
- Display a working knowledge of food, wine, beverage and service procedures and attain thorough food and beverage knowledge to ensure highest member satisfaction.
- Be able to assemble basic cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks upon request.
- Maintain proper care and cleanliness of your station and serving equipment.
- Practice in accordance with Colorado liquor laws and TIPS training.
- Be aware of current RFC activities and scheduled events in order to answer questions from members and guests if asked.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have secure local housing.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1-year experience in hospitality or service industry preferred.
- Previous use of POS system a plus.
- TIPS certified or willing to complete training.
- Adhere to personal grooming and uniform standards as per Roaring Fork Club policies.
- Display and encourage teamwork in the department.
- Treat each Member, their Guests and Team Members with care, dignity, fairness, respect, and recognition.
- Must be able to work seasonal shift from June through September.
Environmental Conditions:
The noise level in the work environment may be loud, the position is mostly outdoors during hot summer days sometimes in varying temperatures and weather conditions. Must be able to work in early morning, afternoon, and early evening as scheduled.
Physical Demands:
- Seeing – Must be able to see well enough to recognize members and others, including close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Hearing – Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with others in a noisy environment.
- Standing/Walking/Mobility- Must be able to stand and walk for the entirety of the shift.
- Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling- Must be able to stoop and kneel for short periods.
- Lifting – Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License, have a clean driving record and be able to drive motor vehicles and golf carts.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
