JOB DESCRIPTION:
Robinson Helicopter Company, a leading manufacturer of civil rotorcraft with a 50-year history of providing affordable helicopters for a wide range of applications, seeks a Technical Illustrator. Robinson Helicopter is an engineering-focused organization that provides challenging and exciting opportunities to contribute to the future of vertical flight.
The Technical Illustrator position is a member of the engineering team and is involved in generating technical illustration art for various technical publications such as helicopter components/assemblies, spare parts catalogs, maintenance manuals, flight manuals, and other aircraft-related art and graphics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & COMPETENCIES:
- Strong drawing skills to produce quality artwork.
- Ability to read blueprints and prepare preliminary parts lists.
- Experience in the use of standard professional art-related computer programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience with standard professional 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk 3D Max and Maya, etc.
- The ability to meet strict deadlines.
- 2-4 years experience preferred.
- Team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, and work well with others.
PAY RANGE:
- $50,000 – 60,000
Walk-in applications are accepted Mon – Fri / 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
