A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Our Registered Dental Hygienists are the backbone of our practice and do so much more than just cleaning teeth! In this role, we rely on you to help make our patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental care. Your calm and reassuring presence comes through as you greet patients and listen to their concerns and/or questions. You will check the medical history, do a preliminary examination to check the teeth and soft tissue, take x-rays, and perform oral prophylaxis. You will perform Oral Health Screening with our iTero scanner. You will also educate patients on ways to improve and maintain good oral health. And, your remarkable wit and jovial spirit will keep you, your colleagues, and the patients smiling from ear to ear - even if they can't feel it for a while!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Maryland Dental Hygiene License
- Licensed to administer local anesthesia is a plus!

WORK SCHEDULE
This essential Hygienist position earns a competitive pay and works 3 to 5 days per week, with never any weekends. Office hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday and 8-2 on Friday, but employees arrive early to prepare for the day and leave after their last patient is complete and all the notes are caught up on.
