Strategic UX/UI Designer

At Roboboogie, we design and optimize with purpose, passion, and a love for solving complex problems through human-centered design thinking. We’re looking for a Strategic UX/UI Designer to join our crew—someone who thrives on owning the end-to-end user-centric design process and is ready to embed with one of our amazing clients to help bring their digital vision to life.

This role is a staff augmentation engagement, meaning you'll work closely with the client’s internal team day-to-day—but you’ll be a fully supported Roboboogie employee with all the benefits, camaraderie, and collaborative energy that comes with it. You’ll have a dedicated Roboboogie Project Manager, and supporting team members backing you up throughout the engagement.

• Own and drive the full user-centered design process, from research and discovery through testing, wireframes, UX prototyping, and UI delivery
• Apply strategic thinking and UX best practices to solve real business problems with elegant, user-friendly design solutions
• Conduct and synthesize user research, stakeholder interviews, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with user needs and business goals
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders (both client-side and Roboboogie-side)
• Present design rationale clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to and help maintain design systems as needed
  

• 4 years of UX/UI design experience (agency, product, or in-house)
• Proven ability to lead a user-centric design process end-to-end
• A portfolio that shows your strategic thinking and ability to turn research into beautiful, functional design
• Deep experience with Figma (design, prototyping, component systems)
• Confidence working independently while staying aligned with cross-functional partners
• Strong communication and collaboration skills—you enjoy working with diverse perspectives
• Experience designing for enterprise-level digital products or platforms is a plus
