Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Student Care Assistant in our Middle School building for the 2023-2024 academic school year! You will be an important mentor and support for young people as they navigate one of the most difficult times in our history.
Ideal candidates will possess experience building relationships with, supervising, and mentoring students. Duties include but are not limited to monitoring hallways and student gathering areas, facilitating restorative conversations, monitoring student attendance, communicating with teachers and parents, and participating in Student Support Team and Grade Level Support Team meetings.
Ideal candidates share in the beliefs that all students have the right to a high quality education, and that restorative practices apply to all members of the school community. We are seeking teachers who are self-directed, committed and independent. RACS staff members are team players who work collaboratively.
