Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including basic cooking or food assembly.
- Support the culinary team during peak hours by bussing tables and ensuring that all necessary items are readily available.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean working environment.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with culinary practices such as food preparation and banquet service is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
