Located on the Manhattan Beach pier at the ocean’s edge, Rock’n Fish features indoor and outdoor dining, with 150 seats and approximately 350-400 covers per day. This position is for you if you have…
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a restaurant floor lead/supervisor/manager
- A sincere desire and ability to provide exceptional hospitality to guests and co-workers
- Depth of knowledge in food, beer, wine, spirits, service, and managing labor cost
- A positive attitude and leadership style ~ a knack for developing talent, and strong knowledge of CA wage & hour laws
- Strong work ethic AND the ability to disengage from work and enjoy life during time off
- Sense of urgency and superior time management and follow-up skills
- A strong sense of integrity ~ does the right thing even when no one is looking
- A desire to grow, learn, and get promoted to Restaurant Manager

What you will do:
- Responsible for overseeing all dining room operations during your shift, ensuring the highest level of excellence in service, hospitality and ambience
- Participate in activities such as hiring, financials, inventory, training, scheduling, and more
- Manage labor costs and ensure all California wage & hour laws are being followed
- Ensure all safety practices are being adhered to including COVID and other Health Department protocols
- Responsible for setting a tone of engagement, positivity, fun and focus for the entire Front of House staff. Maintain a positive and cooperative relationship with the BOH
- Above all else, be the embodiment of gracious hospitality to employees and guests alike. Ensure that we retain top talent and that every guest leaves Rock’n Fish raving about his/her experience and excited to come back.
