Compensation Range: Min: USD $45,800.00/Yr. Compensation Range: Max: USD $50,300.00/Yr.
We are looking for a Research Support Assistant to join our team in analyzing genome-edited mouse/cells using Nanopore sequencing and related molecular biology techniques.
This is a part-time position working 32 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing Nanopore sequencing related strategies for genomic analysis
- Performing genotyping, molecular cloning and sequence analysis
- Managing large genomic sequence files

Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree with college-level course work in biology, chemistry, genetics, molecular biology, statistics and introductory-level of computer science/data analysis
- A successful applicant should be responsible, detail-oriented and perseverant
- For candidates with less than 6 months of lab experience, a minimum of 2 years of commitment is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in molecular biology or CRISPR related technology is a plus
