For 40 years Rockford Specialties has provided custom-made wire and laser-cut component products to the OEM, Point-of-Purchase, Food Service, Consumer Products, and Laboratory & Medical Supply industries. Over the years we have continued to invest in our facilities, our equipment, and our staff to maintain production capabilities that are second to none.
We have several entry-level production operator positions to fill. No experience is required, but previous experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in operating machines, is a plus.
We are looking for reliable candidates, who have mechanical aptitude and a positive, work-focused attitude.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Operate industrial machines, such as resistance welders, presses and hand benders.
· Keep track of part counts, part quality and other required information on paper forms and in our computer tracking system.
- Adhere to Company policies as described in Employee Handbook.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment, and follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Must be able to read, write and speak English.
· Must have basic understanding of math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions
· Must have basic understanding of measuring (such as the ability to read a ruler); experience with calipers and micrometers preferred.
· Experience working in a machine operator role and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
