What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Scientist, Cell Culture position at Rockland Immunochemicals, Inc.?

Responsibilities include :

ELISA testing for all cell culture projects and analyzing subsequent data
Buffer preparation
LN2 inventory and monitoring of associated equipment
Reagent inventory and pulling appropriate reagents for testing
Raw material processing
Opening and closing of clean room suites
Prep final product for QC testing and filling
Familiar with cell culture techniques
Understanding of adherent and suspension cell lines, cell banking, ascites production and cell lysates.
Maintain laboratory space, equipment, and inventory in an appropriate and professional manner.
Dependable attendance along with the ability to be a flexible and effective team player.
Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, proactive planning, and ability to organize and carry out tasks with quality in a timely fashion.
Takes initiative in delivering results on time and responding to needs of the team
Responds to direction as provided and follows established maintenance of notebook records and documentation standards

Qualifications :

Knowledge and interest in Biological Sciences

Understanding of basic immunology concepts

Critical thinking and analytical skills

Willing to learn new techniques

Ability to perform laboratory calculations and conversions

Ability to work and maintain strong relationships with department managers, team members and other departmental staff.

Proficient in MS Office applications

Command of the English language, written and oral

Ability to read and understand Standard Operation Procedures, protocols, and templates

Knowledge of QSR / cGMP guidelines

Education :

Associate's degree or 1 years lab experience
