Title: Forklift Operator
Shift: 1st shift 7:30am-3:30pm or 2nd shift 3:30pm to 11:30pm
Compensation: $18.50 - $21.40
Essential Accountabilities:
The Forklift/Material Handler position is responsible for operating a forklift to help load and unload trucks, haul finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing lines and pulling orders when necessary. This position works in a clean, consistent and safety conscious environment.
The successful candidate will have the ability to operate a forklift, to work in a team environment, work without direct supervision, and demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills.
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
- Good math and writing skills are a must.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Occasional lifting up to 50lbs., standing, bending, and squatting
- Frequent walking and reaching
- Constant twisting, sitting, grasping, arm and wrist movement, and on and off forklift
