Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, serving beverages, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. The Bartender will work in a fast-paced environment, catering to both fine dining and nightclub experiences.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, taking orders and making recommendations based on preferences.
- Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and payment handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilizing basic math skills for cash handling and retail math.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items during banquets or catering events.
- Demonstrate knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation to enhance guest experience.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality while managing time effectively during busy shifts.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus.
- Background in fine dining or banquet service will be advantageous.
