Joshua Post Acute Care Center is now looking to hire an experienced Director of Nursing. JT is a 59 bed skilled nursing facility located in Yucca Valley, CA. We are interested in a Director of Nursing (RN - Registered Nurse) to help lead our team. We offer extensive training and provide on-site consultants to assist in learning/implementing new systems.
Director of Nursing-
is primarily accountable for the overall planning, implementation and operation of multiple clinical/nursing departments in order to meet the needs of the organization; provides leadership and expertise in the management of the department; has primary accountability for human resource management, financial management, and quality management for department and programs within incumbent's responsibility in support of the mission, vision and strategic objectives of YRMC.
Responsibilities
Overall Planning/Vision Provides vision, forward thinking and strategic planning in a proactive manner while being open-minded and creative in establishing a strategic direction for the entire Adult Acute Services areas of YRMC; develops through an integration of ideas of those involved, an organized strategy to achieve both short and long term objectives for the department; effectively communicates strategy to obtain commitment by the responsible individuals; leads the strategic planning process for the respective department; ensures plans and objectives are integrated within the plans of the medical center; works with others in leadership as well as physicians to identify and evaluate programs and emerging technologies.
