This position is either local in the Provo, Utah, area or a remote position with some travel requirements to Utah and is a 9-month or 12-month appointment beginning in August of 2024 or January or May of 2025. **Compensation is based on academic rank and experience

Core Functions:
- This Core Counseling Faculty will teach hybrid asynchronous/synchronous courses, with the synchronous components being taught via Zoom evenings from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm Mountain time. Further, the position will require travel to campus in Provo, Utah, several times a year to teach during in-person residencies.
- Developing compelling synchronous and asynchronous online learning experiences,
- Actively participating in in-person residencies,
- Providing quality classroom learning experiences,
- Facilitating counseling skills instruction and skill acquisition,
- Providing clinical supervision for practicums and internships
- Participating in scholarly activity and providing departmental, university, professional, and community service, including academic advisement and student support.
Background/Expertise:
- Doctorate in Counselor Education and be qualified as Core Counseling Faculty under CACREP Standards,
- Graduate-level teaching experience in counseling
- Current licensure as a Professional Counselor (addictions, marriage, couples and family, mental health, rehabilitation, or school counseling),
- At least two (2) years of clinical experience and a state or national clinical supervisor credential (e.g., LPC-S, ACS, or equivalent),
