SALES CONSULTANT
Rod Baker Ford in Plainfield is expanding and is looking for full time automotive sales consultants to add to our sales staff.
Our growing Sales department is looking for ambitious and self-motivated people to join our team. No automotive experience required, we offer a paid training program. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Greeting customers and assisting them in selecting a vehicle that fits their needs.
· Knowledge of our product line
· Assisting in the closing of deals with the finance department including properly executed paperwork (insurance information, title, etc.)
· Post-delivery follow up including tags/titles
· Establish personal goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
· Maintain knowledge of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers.
· Demonstrate automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking test drives; comparing and contrasting competitive models; explaining warranties and services.
· Prospect daily for potential customers; maintain consistent rapport with previously sold customers.
· Learn to overcome objections; ask for the sale; negotiate price; complete sales or purchase agreement; explain and offer warranties, services, and finance.
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
· Effectively use and maintain CRM system to desk deals, contact customers and keep track of important customer information.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Prefer experience in the automotive industry or previously in a sales role but not required.
· Confidence in your ability to be successful.
· Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
· Professional appearance and outstanding work ethic.
· Great attitude with a high-energy personality. .
· Superior customer service skills.
· A desire to work in a commission, performance-based, environment.
· Self-starter and self-motivated.
· Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
· Valid Drivers License

Pay: $50,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
