Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as the strategic human resources consultant and liaison between Human Resources and business unit leaders across the system, ensuring effective service delivery to business leaders. Overall, the Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for collaborating with business leaders to achieve the applicable business unit goals and objectives. The HRBP aligns business objectives with employees and management and is key contributor in forecasting, evaluating and developing action plans, with business leadership, to address workforce needs, maximize performance and business unit outcomes.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Consult and advise with human resource teams and business leaders.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team and business unit leaders to identify solutions and tools to best support business performance and business objectives.
- Provide strategic consult in the areas of performance, rewards, and recognition of human resources best practices.
- Analyze trends in partnership with the human resources group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Collaborate with managers and leadership teams on the development and implementation of recruitment, retention, and succession planning strategies and initiatives.
- Stay current on industry practices, models and regulatory activities that could impact business and workforce goals and objectives, compensation and benefits programs, workforce planning, organizational development, etc.
- Interpret and analyze human resources data to support business decisions.
- Prepare and set up routine updates for executives and others, on human resources strategies, programs, practices, issues and related business outcomes.
- Assist with supervision of service delivery within human resources department; address and advise as needed.
Education/Training Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources or related field. Master degree in Human Resources preferred.
- Ten (10) or more years Human Resources experience, with at least three (3) years of Human Resources business partner experience required.
- Comprehensive understanding of strategic talent and OD strategies, practices, programs and plans. Knowledge of total rewards plan design and administration.
- Understanding of federal and state human resource laws and regulations.
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.
