Overview
The Government Sales Specialist is responsible for growing government sales by locating and securing bid opportunities, closing sales with new and existing customers, and consistently providing a high level of customer service and support. This person will also be managing our distributor accounts.

Responsibilities

• Locate and solicit government and military sales opportunities
• Log, track, and report bids and sales
• Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers
• Develop internal and external cross functional, multi level relationships
• Maintain a high level of responsiveness to customer needs
• Manage government, distributor accounts and contracts
• Collect, analyze, and report sales data to measure against current goals
• Generate leads through cold calling, telemarketing and referrals
• Oversee all aspects of client relationships including: sales to new/existing clients, establishing and maintaining relationships with resale vendors, and customer support

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of government sales experience required
• GSA knowledge required
• Strong negotiation skills required
• Prior fitness equipment sales experience preferred
• Veterans preferred
• Must be a self-starter and be able to prioritize tasks and scheduling without direction
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a rapidly changing, complex, deadline driven environment
