Role: As an Order Builder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately organizing production job paperwork, then carefully selecting and pulling lumber from appropriate lumber units based on size and quality to fulfill customer orders and staging them in the saw room staging area to begin the production process according to Rogue Truss Systems’ quality standards. You will collaborate closely with the Yard Lead, production team, and sales team to prioritize orders and meet scheduled production times, ensuring a smooth and efficient production process.

This Role reports to the Yard Lead.

Responsibilities:

· Customer Assistance: Assist production team in timely staging of products, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience.

· Team Support: Consistently support the company, customers, and fellow employees by fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

· Order Building: Accurately build and stage orders, ensuring all items are correctly picked and staged according to job paperwork for production.

· Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload shipping trucks, ensuring accurate handling and documentation of packages and materials to prevent damage and loss.

· Warehouse & Yard Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in yards and warehouses, ensuring stock is safely stored, stocked and easily accessible.

· Other Duties: Respond positively to requests from Yard Lead and perform well other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic
  • Teamworking skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age or greater
  • Can move and stack lumber up to 20’ long for extended periods
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs. with bending, walking, and operating a forklift
  • Can be outside for the vast majority of working hours
  • Detail oriented

Compensation:

· Wage: Starting at $18/hr.

· Position Type: Non-exempt

· Normal Work Schedule: M-F 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

· Paid Time Off and Holidays
