Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Solar Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, roofing, and safety protocols. As a Solar Installer, you will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and high-quality installations that meet industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
- Ensure all installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Perform electrical work related to solar installations, including high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Use power tools and equipment safely to complete installation tasks.
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar panels.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during the installation process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Operate forklifts as needed for transporting materials on-site.
Requirements
- Experience in solar installation is a must
- Strong Electrical skills, looking for a electrical journeyman.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including experience as a commercial electrician is a plus.
- Familiarity with using voltmeters and other electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to work at heights and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license is required; forklift certification is a plus.
- Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
