The Rome City School District is actively recruiting for a Teacher Assistant 1:1 position at Stokes Elementary School. This is a 10 month position, 6 hours per day.
The Rome City School District offers competitive salary and benefits. NYS Teaching Assistant Certification is required.
If a Teacher Aide is hired to fill a Teacher Assistant position, the Aide will be required to obtain Teaching Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire date.
Minimum Qualifications:
Certified as a Teacher Assistant or be eligible for Teacher Certification Level 1: Valid for 3 years
Candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
NY State Test: Assessment of Teaching Assistant Skills

Basic Functions:
Assisting in related instructional work
