Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Manage the POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards in line with our restaurant's vision.
- Train, develop, and mentor staff in customer service excellence, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
- Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new team members to build a strong front-of-house team.
- Monitor inventory control and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Implement effective shift management strategies to optimize staff performance during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations.
- Address customer inquiries and feedback promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or similar roles within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and culinary standards.
- Experience in fine dining establishments is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and budgeting processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation with exceptional communication skills.
- Background in hospitality management or culinary experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in training & development of staff is a plus.
