Job Description
Automobile title clerks serve an administrative function and are responsible for processing the title of a vehicle from one registered owner to another.
Reports to
Controller
Essential Functions
1. Accurately processes incoming titles daily from dealerships, matches the consignor checks daily to the title and invoice
2. Prepares daily report of contracts and vehicle receivables due
3. Prepares payoff checks for trade-ins and follow ups on all titles
4. Processes after-sale warranties and related documents for month end
5. Maintains strict compliance with titling laws and filing requirements
6. Troubleshooting and problem resolution specific to titles
7. Maintains a high level of confidentiality
8. Willingness to be cross trained in other office duties
9. Other duties as assigned

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time OR part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m, depending on FT or PT hiring status.

Required Education and Experience
- HS Degree
- 3 years experience
- Knowledge of GSS/ Dealertrack "online registration submissions"
- Knowledge of multi state registrations
- Current PA notary
Preferred Education and Experience
- Prior Title Clerk dealership experience is preferred
- Notary Certification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
