Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Preschool Teacher located in Roanoke, VA. The Assistant Preschool Teacher will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of the curriculum, planning and conducting daily activities, supporting the lead teacher in classroom management, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Additionally, the Assistant Preschool Teacher will communicate with parents and participate in staff meetings and training sessions. In the afternoons, the teacher will assist with the school age program (K-5th graders).
Qualifications
- Knowledge and expertise in Early Childhood Education
- Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Certified in CPR and First Aid is a plus
- Available to work hours between 7:30am-5:30pm
