The Opportunity:
At Rosauers Supermarkets, the deli isn't just a place to pick up lunch—it's a culinary adventure waiting to happen. As a Deli Associate, you'll be the curator of delectable delights, crafting customized sandwiches, salads, and more with an artistic touch, serving up scrumptious creations that make every meal memorable. Your attention to detail and passion for quality will ensure that our customers enjoy a deli experience that's second to none.
What You'll Do:
- Create an all-around enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
- Welcome and greet customers when entering or leaving the store.
- Listen to customers to gain a thorough understanding of what they need.
- Recommend, slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing deli items.
- Prepare special orders, take-out items, and party trays.
- Update displays, cases and other customer-facing areas.
- Confirm that all displays, products, and services comply with company standards.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ensure work areas are clean and ready to service customers.
- Cooperate with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Help lead and motivate the deli department team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
