Driver

General Statement of Duties: Function as a member of the clinical team. Provide support and assist in programming to assist individuals with mental illness achieve a higher level of functioning and independence.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide transportation for residents
• Schedule doctors appointments when required
• Support all aspects of the Rose Hill program, enabling the residents to achieve treatment goals
• Work with residents on a 1:1 basis to assist in the development of social/leisure and independent living skills
• Communicate and report any major concerns to the Clinical Team
• Document activity in the resident charts
• Observe, monitor and report changes in residents behavior
• Provide personal care, protection, and supervision to the residents

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the residents
• Ability to handle emergency situations
• Ability to meet certification in CPR and First Aid
• Valid drivers license and safe driving record
