Position Summary :

The Clinical Coordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping the clinical experience for students, overseeing the management of orientation documents and ensuring that all clinical requirements are met. This dynamic position involves collaborating closely with faculty and external partners to coordinate student placements, maintain precise records, and manage clinical assignments. Beyond the administrative duties, the Clinical Coordinator ensures the security of clinical files, actively participates in team meetings, and is a key point of contact for addressing any clinical-related concerns, all while contributing to a seamless and successful learning journey for students.

Essential Functions :

• Prepares and maintains clinical orientation documents for incoming and current students.
• Compiles and disseminates information on clinical requirements and supplies.
• Assists with clinical orientation and ensures the acquisition of clinical attire for student cohorts.
• Maintains up-to-date student and faculty clinical requirement records.
• Maintains an inventory of potential clinical placement sites and ensures accurate placement records in the database system.
• Coordinates with external schools and placement agencies for clinical placements and maintains relationships with agency representatives.
• Prepares and submits requests for clinical rotations and ensures timely documentation is sent to clinical sites.
• Schedules hospital orientations.
• Ensures confidentiality, security, and proper retention of student and instructor clinical files.
• Maintains student rosters.
