Purpose: Provide administrative and operational support for waste receiving, QA/QC, and discrepancy resolution. Key Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions: OPERATIONS/SAFETY/COMPLIANCE • Coordinates and communicates with QA/QC, Receiving Department, Security Guard, Logistics, RTS, Production Planning, and other Operations staff for inbound and outbound scheduled waste receipts. • Performs driver return administration and related paperwork, including manifest review, land disposal restrictions, and reports discrepancies per company procedures. • Responsible for receipts maintenance in manifest validation programs. • Responsible for receiving, data entry and filing all inbound and outbound shipping manifest documents. • Maintains shipper edits. • Responsible for generating, updating, and maintaining all documentation associated with residuals manifests. • Assists in transshipment manifests, including, but not limited to, verifying quantities, data input, filing, and matching up returned manifest copies. • Signs, scans, burst, and files manifests in compliance with regulatory requirements, permit requirements, and company policies. • Support RFP (release for processing) program needs. OTHER • Daily use of advanced PC and business computer applications, telephone conferencing and e-mail. • Understands both RIS’ OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, and assists with executing their objectives. • Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Formal training or education in a related field is a plus. • Three or more years of related administrative experience in quality control, production planning, receiving or related field. • Working knowledge/understanding of environmental and related regulations (RCRA, DOT, CWA, CAA, etc.) is a plus. • Must have excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. • Must have strong work ethic and commitment to quality. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). • Must be analytical, detail oriented, and customer-focused. • Must be able to follow established company procedures, as well as those related to regulatory requirements. • Physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to safely perform the essential functions of the job.
