Inventory Coordination
- Schedules services with vendors and generate related order documents (labels, manifests, LDRs, certifications, etc.).
- May create outbound and direct shipment documents (labels, manifests, LDRs, certifications, etc.) in compliance with regulations and vendor requirements.
- Creates pick lists for outbound shipments.
- Ensures loads are accurately prepared and removed from RIS’ inventory by monitoring and executing the shipper edit and load release processes.
- Coordinates the vendor invoicing process, including revenue and expense accruals, purchase order creation and receiving, customer invoicing and documentation.
- Reviews profitability estimates on each shipment coordinated.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- May assist in data entry of, and establishing approval of, vendor profiles as needed to support efficient, economical movement of RIS’ waste inventory or customer treatment needs.
- Maintains RES’ offsite approval records.
- Maintains a working knowledge of competitors and market trends.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the RIS waste stream approval process.
- Maintains working knowledge of RIS and RTS capabilities and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining working knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance requirements (EPA, DOT, OSHA, etc.).
- Understanding RES’ ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) and assists with executing its objectives.
- Performing other job-related duties assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field, or supply chain with chemistry training. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Two or more years’ experience in similar position, in environmental services industry.
- Position requires exercise of independent judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of current DOT, RCRA and EPA regulations is required.
- Ability to present ideas and information in a clear, concise, organized, and diplomatic manner; ask appropriate questions in order to obtain information; listen to other’s questions and ideas; maintain composure when challenged.
- Strong creative and critical thinking skills to generate new ideas when problem solving.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including the use of Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, CRM/Salesforce, document management systems, Power BI and other programs, to generate insights and recommend actions.
- Position requires external treatment vendor contact. Must possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be willing to work additional hours or off-hours as needed to meet business objectives. May be required to travel to customer or treatment sites.
- Must be highly organized and able to problem solve to meet business objectives.
- Must be able to resolve conflicts to meet business objectives.
- Must possess strong work ethic with commitment to safety, compliance, and quality.
- Must be computer literate (i.e. Microsoft Office) and be able to generate reports and correspondence as required.
