We are hiring an Assembler on our first shift. As an Assembler, you are responsible for final assembly of Rotochopper products using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment.

Hours: 5:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Thursday

5:00am – 11:00am, Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Assemble machinery as instructed using a variety of hand and power tools and other equipment as needed.
• Positions or align components for sub-assembly, assembly, manually or using hoists.
• Assembles mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
• Assemble equipment for final operation.
• Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience is preferred, but also accepting entry level applicants with a willingness to learn.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills
• Ability to read and follow intermediate measurements and instructions.
• Good communication skills, ability to work with little supervision, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be present on the job to safely perform the assigned duties.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, push, pull or move up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to bend, stoop, and reach. Employee will go extended periods of time standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• The employee will also be required to stand; walk; use hand dexterity; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, talk and hear.
