What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Associate position at Rough Country?
Job Summary:
The Accounting Associate’s responsibilities include processing payments from marketplace customers and reconciliation of marketplace customer receivable accounts, refund processing, charge-back dispute management, account reconciliations, various data check validations, and claims and return processing. Other tasks are but not limited to:
- Support and back-up account payable
- Support and backup accounts receivable
- Customer service support through phone calls and email
- Support monthly closing procedures and other accounting functions
Specific Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work extended hours as needed
