Job Summary:
Route 128 Honda, a leading automotive dealership in Reading, Massachusetts, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Honda Sales Consultant to join our sales team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service and driving sales of new and pre-owned Honda vehicles. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a base salary, commission, and potential for a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 for candidates with 3 years of experience in the automotive industry. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all potential and existing customers
- Meet and exceed sales goals set by the dealership
- Educate customers on the features and benefits of Honda vehicles
- Conduct test drives and assist customers in selecting the right vehicle for their needs
- Negotiate and close sales deals
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to promote repeat and referral business
- Utilize all available resources to stay up-to-date on Honda models, features, and incentives
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current inventory, pricing, and promotions
- Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage future business
- Participate in sales training and meetings to continually improve knowledge and skills
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in automotive sales preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is a plus
- Knowledge of Honda vehicles and features is preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
