What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cake Decorator position at Route 65 Management, LLC?
Job Summary:
- Offer quality products and excellent customer service. Maintain a safe and clean environment. Assist store manager and district manager in meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals by keeping decorated product stocked and up to company standards. Fulfill job expectations with ownership and integrity.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage and execute Cake decoration operations, including cakes, cookies, polar pizzas and clown cones.
- Responsible for all aspects of cake decorating operations from initiating/receiving the order through meeting customer specified pick up time of cake order.
- Decorate cakes to customer specification for nature of design/theme.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Provide outstanding customer service and suggestive selling
- Responsible for maintaining and monitoring all decorated products shelf life and expiration dates to ensure the highest quality products
- Responsible for cake decorating equipment, maintaining and ordering decorating supplies.
- Use all equipment such as tub cutters, refrigerators, and freezers according to company guidelines
- Practice preventative maintenance
- Accurately inventory and stock all products for the Baskin Robbins side of the Dunkin business
- Follow all health and food safety regulations and guidelines
- Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained and all related logs are kept current
- Prepare, package, label, and inventory ingredients in merchandise
- Comply with all safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Immediately report all safety risks, issues, or illegal activity
- Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies
