We are looking for an enthusiastic Quality Assurance Technician to join our growing team! The Quality Assurance Technician plays a key role in ensuring that the RouteSmart product lines meet the highest standards of quality and performance. The Quality Assurance Technician will engage in comprehensive testing and validation of features and bug corrections as they are developed, while also reviewing and validating user-reported issues. A clear understanding of RouteSmart products is essential for effectively evaluating development features and providing insights from an end-user perspective.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Test and provide feedback on software development features and bug corrections across all RouteSmart products
- Identify, validate and/or document defects/enhancements in a centralized issue tracking system
- Execute coordinated test scenarios in accordance with approved test plans and procedures
- Maintain detailed documentation of testing plans and testing results
- Engage in daily scrums
- Engage in sprint planning
- Assist data processing of street data
- Maintain appropriate VM sessions to test in alternative environments including operation systems and GIS versions as well as RouteSmart product versions
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years' experience software testing preferred
- Very detail oriented and organized
- Motivated to meet deadlines
- Ability to question and think creatively to imagine end user interaction
- Strong interpersonal skills - verbal and written
- Self-motivated
- Bachelor's degree in related area such as: GIS/Geography/Business preferred
- Understanding of the Agile development process preferred
- Understanding of RouteSmart products preferred
- Experience with GIS software preferred
