Job Summary:
The Receiving Coordinator will work closely with scheduling, procurement and production, to receive, check in, and coordinate the availability of raw materials and components for the production process. They will do this by receiving goods into inventory per the check-in process. Inventory cycle counts, labeling of incoming products, organizing, and updating inventory tags, are the main responsibilities. This position requires good communications, a team player, a forward-thinking attitude, safety first mind set, and ability to take instruction.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Examines & unloads incoming deliveries by verifying BOL’s and packing slips
- Checks in all freight, coordinating who/where it should be located
- Organizes stocks, restocks, and maintains inventory locations
- Inspects products for defects and damages, communicating issues
- Organize warehouse space, maintaining it and keeping it clean and orderly
- Refills & replenishes stock locations for production daily
- Performs all other duties and projects as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Forklift certification
- MRP experience a plus
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing and growing environment
Education and Experience:
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience in a warehouse manufacturing environment, preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of moving and transferring product to and from various locations
- Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds at times
