Job Title: Skilled Laborer

Department: Open Cut Repair & Replacement

Status: Full-time

Location Address: 6855 102nd Ave N Pinellas Park FL 33782

Duties Include:

• Installs and repairs water, reclaimed water, telephone, gas, sewer, and drainage systems.
• Familiarity with operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes.
• Signals operators of equipment to facilitate alignment of machinery to conform to grade specifications. Levels earth, asphalt, crushed rock, and other materials to fine grade specifications.
• Knowledge of underground utilities and rigging.
• Utilizes grade stakes, hand levels, strings, rulers, and survey instruments to obtain proper grade. Mix concrete, using portable mixer.
• Smooths and finishes freshly poured cement or concrete, using float, trowel, or screed.
• Erects scaffolding, shoring, and braces.
• Performs a variety of non-routine tasks, some involving machines or trucks, as directed by a supervisor.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Including cleaning, carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling, or shoveling to accomplish tasks.
• Must have experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Adheres to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environment.
• Construction experience required.
• Driver's License (required)
