Addictions Counselor

Roxbury is looking for caring, compassionate behavioral healthcare candidates who want to join our staff in making a difference in the lives of others.

We are currently recruiting for full-time and per diem Counselors to work on our Substance Use Disorder Unit. The Addictions Counselor assesses the patient’s drug and alcohol history, establishes treatment goals and provides therapeutic and educational services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.

The schedule for the full-time positions is day shift. Joining the facility as a per diem staff allows for an opportunity for advancement should a full or part-time position become available.

Job Requirements:

Master’s Degree in the psychology related field with at least 1 year of experience OR Bachelor's Degree in the psychology related field with one year of direct counseling experience.

Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg.
