*Valid Driver's License required.
*Must be available to work weekends and holidays (golf course is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day).
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Player Assistant adheres to company policy and procedures. Communicates with clubhouse staff about activities scheduled for the day. Organizes carts and regulates pace of play. Player Assistant maintains driving range and secures the Golf Club at closing.
Incumbent is expected to have excellent attendance and communication skills, possess the ability to build lasting business relationships, and exhibit professionalism.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain pull carts and golf carts
- Fill sand bottles, air tires, wash and park in maintenance building at the end of the day
- Keep adequate carts available for play
- Regulate pace of play and course etiquette
- Empty trash containers outside of the clubhouse, clean and return carts to the barn
- Count the carts to make sure all are accounted for before locking the barn
- Mix sand with dye for use on driving range
- Pick any range balls outside of the range net with a shag bag provided.
- Communicate and assist Clubhouse Personnel as needed
- Pick the range with range picker, wash the range balls, and reload ball dispenser
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
- Operate and drive carts and other vehicles
- Work under multiple time constraints
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted
- Must be able to walk property
- Must be able to stoop, stretch, bend reach and lift regularly
- Must be able work outside, a minimum of 7 hours daily, year around
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be available Tuesday - Sunday, 11:00 AM through 8:00 PM (dusk)
- Must be available on holidays
